Hey Chris,
I remember you and your wife from MCC days. I am Kathy Goodman's sister, if that helps. Tom and I have been Missionaries for 22 years and decided to spend some years in the states for a change with our H.S. teens. It has been a HUGE change but a GREAT one!!
God bless you and your ministry. Come to Minnesota and I'll hook you up with some awesome bands and our church!

I am so excited that you will be at NKCC, along with Jim and me. We've been praying for so long about a new season in our lives, and we have confirmation that NKCC is our "new season" - we couldn't be more excited that you will be there, too, along with you fabulous group.

Hi Chris. My husband and I saw you at the Glen Allen show when you opened for Taylor Hicks. We really enjoyed your show!! I see you are going to be in NC so hopefully we can catch you guys again. My husband was wondering where y'all are from because the keyboard player looks very familiar to him.

Chris - you are very talented. Your bio interested me as well as cracked me up. I enjoyed your show at Innsbrook on 7/7. I felt "lucky" and blessed to have seen it and heard your sound. I'll keep watching this site for other shows. I told my husband about you, and now he's interested too. May God continue to bless you. I'm looking forward to hearing more of you.

We saw you at the Taylor Hicks concert last night and I thought you sounded great. Have you tried marketing on CDbaby or emusic or the other indie music sites? I think you would go over well there. Thousands of singer-songwriters are out there so it can't be for the money.
Most people go to their grave with their music still inside of them.
You've got something to say and you do.

Chris,
Always enjoy your music ( most recently outdoors at West End Assembly. Bought and love your CD this past Sunday. Most CD's always seem to have a "what was he thinking" songs on them. Not on this CD. Particularly like "Hallelujah" and "You know what its like". Congratulations on the positive feedback from Bob Bennett, one of my favorites from many years ago. Unfortunately, as the Bible says 'The race does not necessarily go to the swift or the battle to the strong but time and circumstance happen to them all". Heres hoping that circumstances give you the break that you so richly deserve. Lastly, LOVED the country music on Sunday. Was waiting to see if there was a lyric change on "Walking in Memphis" when the question is asked 'Are you a Christian". Country music seems so real (spiritual?) to me even if it does not have theological content in it. Best of luck to you.

HEY MR. ADAMS!!!!! It's your biggest fan! :) I LOVE your, UNDER THE SILENT SKY CD and CAN'T WAIT for your next one! My favorite song of yours is obviously "The Ezara Song!" haha Thank you so much for singing it for me the other night! I listen to it non-stop. You have an outstanding voice and range. You are an amazingly gifted musician. Thank you also for letting me come over to your house and hang out. Let's go tromping through the woods again...it was so much fun. Oh and I almost forgot thank you for letting me date your son! He's just as amazing as you are, although we're weorking on the whole singing thing! haha Caleb's a good musician, which he obviously gets from you, and I think you should let him play with you at concerts more often because it's not only ADORABLE, but also really fun to watch. Well, this is long enough I'll post more comments later! haha You're the best Mr. Adams and super cute! :)
Love your biggest fan EVER,
Ezara

Dear Chris:
I'm a little embarrassed to tell you that I do not have a firm memory of how I came to have your 2003 CD UNDER THIS SILENT SKY. The two immediate possibilities that come to mind are that we might have met after one of my own concerts ... or connected through the vastness that is the Internet!
What I can tell you is that I "re-found" your CD just a little bit ago (a home office excavation in progress in the eternal quest to "get organized"). I just wanted to commend you on all aspects of the disc. Being an acoustic-music fan, I like the "wooden touches: throughout. Songwise, I especially appreciated "Hallelujah" and "Silent Sky". "The Way I Do Now" is one of the most tender expressions of maturing, long-term love I've heard in a long time. It's easy to write the excitement-at-first love songs, a little more of a challenge to keep the flame alive and to write so well about it. There are not many artists who can produce themselves well ... and you've managed it all very nicely.
So I'm writing this little note as a thank-you and encouragement. Good songs, well-played and well-sung ... I'm always on board with that!
Take care, Bob Bennett

Hi Mike,
Thanks for the note. Glad you like the songs on the "music" page.
Not really a new direction. I've got this weird Gospel, Country, Pop, Folk, mix going on. I'm writing a lot for a publisher out in Nashville. Been doing that for a while.
I am asked quite regularly to do music in the Church, particularly Contemporary Worship and I'm still working with a couple of Churches in that capacity although it is just as a guest musician.
Thanks again,
Chris

Chris, I was just listening to you songs and wanted to say that I really enjoyed them. Is this a new direction that you are going in or do you still do religous things too? Take care.
