Some new dates coming up. Be sure to check the calendar to see where I'll be playing at this month!
Thanks to everyone who came out to see us at "First Night Virginia" last night in Charlottesville, VA. We had a great turn out for each of our shows and folks really seemed to enjoy the music.
It was great to meet all the people who came up and introduced themselves after our sets. Hope to see you folks again sometime in the future.
Wishing you all the best for this New Year!
Thanks to everyone over at the "Meadows, Urquhart, Acree & Cook" firm for having us at their Christmas Party this past weekend.
Great folks! Everyone had a great time.
Played for a great backyard "get-together" over the weekend. I think it might be safe to say this will be our last "outdoor" event this year :) We're still thawing out our fingers and toes.
Many thanks to Sherry and friends for making us a part of your special evening.
Played the "Best in Show" event for Richmond Animal League last night. The event was held at the Science Museum of Virginia. The stage was in the Rotunda which has about a 100 ft. high ceiling (I'm not kidding).
There was a good five second echo in the room when you clapped your hands together!
But, we still managed to get a pretty good sound and everything went great!
Thanks to everyone over at RAL who invited us back for our third event with them.
Played at the Cold Harbor Ruritan's "Steak and Race" event last weekend.
We blew up both of my Subs (Bass speakers)! Think they're still under warranty.....I hope so anyway.
Other than that though, lots of fun. We had a good time providing the music for the evening, but it looked like everyone out on the lawn was having an even better time than we were.....especially those who parked their lawn chairs next to the Budweiser truck!
Played Saturday out at Bryan Park. Nice event. Very hot!!!, especially inside the mobile trailer/stage that we were on...... or as I like to call it "THE OVEN"!
Here is a clip that the Times Dispatch has on their website about the event.

Had a great night out at the Chesterfield County Fair last night!
Thanks to everyone who showed up... some who even travelled from up near Charlottesville to come out and see us!
Thank you so much
Opened for Blake Shelton and band last night at Innsbrook After Hours. We had a great time (even though we only got a 3 minute sound check!!!!!)
Anyway, many thanks to Scott and Carrol from Backstage Sound for helping us make the best of a bad situation and getting us a good sound "on the fly".
Woofstock was a big hit on Saturday. Lot's of folks with their pets and pooper scoopers. I think the "Doggy Fashion Show" was the high point of the day!! It was a cool event and everybody had a great time.
We played on this mobile stage which was really a cargo trailer that opened up and unfolded to make a platform with a covering over the top. It was really ingenious except for the fact that it was like playing on the inside of an aluminum can!! My ears are still ringing!!!
Many thanks to Jody Boyd who rescued us at the last minute and sat in on drums. Great job!
Wow! What a busy week!
Thanks to everyone at Ni River Community Church for making me feel so welcome last night. Hope to be back again soon.
Cafe Caturra (Grove Ave.) tonight...... then it's WOOFSTOCK on Saturday!
Saturday, May 1st is the final round in the Songwriter Showdown at Ashland Coffe and Tea. I'll be playing a few songs and we'll see how it goes!
Hope to see some familiar faces there and that you hoot and holler and make it seem like I'm a lot more popular than I really am! :)
See the Calendar page for full details on this event.
Well, we had a "Great" time at the Zion Coffee house last night. The folks there were awesome and seemed to really connect with all the songs we did.
It was so refreshing, after playing at some places where you just feel like background music, to be in a concert setting again!
Thanks to Marjie and David and everyone who worked the event. We hope to see you all again real soon!
