I do a weekly radio show and podcast called "The Great American Music Hour" and have recently discovered the music of Chris Adams, which I consider to be great American Music.
This week's show featured "Too Late", which is a great piece of songwriting wrapped in a very tasty musical package. Call it inspirational if you will, it's all just good music to me.

I'm a little embarrassed to tell you that I do not have a firm memory of how I came to have your 2003 CD UNDER THIS SILENT SKY. The two immediate possibilities that come to mind are that we might have met after one of my own concerts ... or connected through the vastness that is the Internet!
What I can tell you is that I "re-found" your CD just a little bit ago (a home office excavation in progress in the eternal quest to "get organized"). I just wanted to commend you on all aspects of the disc. Being an acoustic-music fan, I like the "wooden touches: throughout. Songwise, I especially appreciated "Hallelujah" and "Silent Sky". "The Way I Do Now" is one of the most tender expressions of maturing, long-term love I've heard in a long time. It's easy to write the excitement-at-first love songs, a little more of a challenge to keep the flame alive and to write so well about it. There are not many artists who can produce themselves well ... and you've managed it all very nicely.
So I'm writing this little note as a thank-you and encouragement. Good songs, well-played and well-sung ... I'm always on board with that!
Take care, Bob Bennett
